Scenario
To get free upgrades of Paragon NTFS for Mac for all macOS versions from now on, you are offered to buy the Lifetime Assurance via the exclusive offer of your license upgrade. It is available in your MyParagon account. You have it registered, when buying your NTFS for Mac license. I have a few NTFS for Mac licenses. Write, copy, edit or delete files on Microsoft NTFS-formatted drives from your Mac. Read and write files on APFS- or HFS+ formatted HDD, SSD or flash drive from your PC. Migrate from Windows PC to Mac. You have a large amount of data on your old PC that you’d like to transfer to your new Mac. Free up extra disk space.
After installing NTFS for Mac OS X and rebooting it is not possible to mount NTFS partition.
Cause
1. File system errors
After using NTFS drive in Windows you have detached it without removing it safely. Therefore NTFS journal has not been emptied from temporary streams.
To fix the problem, open Disk Utility under Mac OS X. You will find it in Applications – Utilities.
Choose NTFS partition on the left and find First Aid tab on the right. Under this tab you will find Verify Disk option. Run Verify and then Repair.
Choose NTFS partition on the left and find First Aid tab on the right. Under this tab you will find Verify Disk option. Run Verify and then Repair.
In most cases Verify will show a note “Native NTFS journal is not empty”. If there is no such message but other file system errors have been detected by Verify, still please run Repair.
Please take screen shots of Verify and Repair outupt just in case.

Now please detach hard disk from your computer, and then connect it back. Now NTFS volumes should be automatically mounted.
It is important:
- Even if disk is not visible in Finder, it will still be displayed in Disk Utility.
- Verify and Repair options are available only if Paragon NTFS for Mac is turned on in System Preferences
“NTFS journal is not empty” error may appear on the drive if it wasn’t safely removed in Windows. Please always use “Safe remove” when you finish work with NTFS drive in Windows.
2. Product not activated
Please check whether driver has been activated:
Open System Preferences panel – NTFS for Mac OS X – Info
Check whether Product Key and Serial Number have been entered in respective fields and online activation has been successfully completed.

Paragon Ntfs 16111 For Mac Iso
I am really not sure what is happening all of the sudden but my two hard drives frequently show no content inside after resuming from sleep.
I very recently got the new 5GB WD ultra drive formatted as NTFS and installed paragon driver that came with it. The older 4TB drive is still HFS+ and both are connected via USB3.0 hub on my monitor. There had never been any trouble before. Now both drives frequently show empty after waking up the system. The small external SSD on HFS+, connected directly is still live. I have too little USB ports on the old mac so have no choice at all but to use the hub.
I will be migrating away from MAC very soon so it is key that I have some way to transfer data to win / linux compatible storage. I thought this was the answer but it sure looks more like a bat from the hell. Time machine refuses to recognise NTFS drive either, and I'm only asking to backup its data, not on to it.
Console shows a lot of
disk3s1: I/O error.
That's the new 5TB one.
I can pull the monitor cable out, put it back in and they then work till next time.
I'm not sure what to do apart from missing the black friday sales and buying something right now.
